Job Description
We are recruiting a Process Engineer in the Chemicals & Biorefining, Mining & Metals process engineering team within the Industry Division. The team provides engineering and consulting services globally to industrial and start-up clients. The work is carried out in an international environment and involves close cooperation across disciplines and organizational boundaries.
Your primary place of work can be located in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Oulu. AFRY supports a hybrid working model.
As a process engineer you will:
Be responsible for process engineering in your own design area
Draft flow- and PI-diagrams
Size process equipment
Perform process simulations
Develop process balances
Produce other relevant process design documentation
Develop your personal skills and take part in collaborative internal development projects
Requirements
- Our ideal candidate has:
- Master of Science degree in Metallurgy or a similar education
- 0-3 years of experience in process design
- Experience in AutoCAD and HSC Sim
- Experience projects within the mining and metals industry
- Safety-critical mindset
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English. Command of Finnish and Swedish is seen as an advantage.
