We are looking for a Solution Owner, Data Platforms, to join our IT team.
As the Solution Owner, Data Platforms you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership, strategy, and evolution of enterprise data platform solutions within the Global Platforms IT organization. The role drives the modernization of the data landscape from legacy solutions to modern cloud-based platforms, with strong emphasis on Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric enabled analytics and reporting.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, internal teams, and external partners. The Solution Owner ensures the platform evolves in a secure, scalable, and business-value -driven manner while enabling analytics, reporting, data governance, and future AI use cases through a trusted data foundation.
You will report to the Director, Global Platforms. The position can be based either in our Helsinki office or in our Nokia office.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of the data platform solution, ensuring reliability, scalability, supportability, and continuous improvement.
- Define and maintain the platform roadmap aligned with business priorities, enterprise architecture principles, and IT strategy.
- Lead the transition from legacy data warehouse solutions to modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Ensure platform performance, governance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Act as the primary IT counterpart for business stakeholders, translating business needs into solution priorities, requirements, and scope.
