Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) delivers the infrastructure that powers Microsoft's cloud services. The EMEA Data Centre Delivery (DCD) team leads the end-to-end Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) delivery of data centers across the region. The Microsoft portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.
We are seeking a Construction Metro Director to lead our team in the development of the Vaasa Metro in Finland.
As the Vaasa Metro Construction Director, you will lead the Vassa campus development by delivering multiple concurrent hyperscale DCs. The successful candidate must be prepared to support multiple site locations as needed, with the role expected to be primarily site based.

Responsibilities
- Lead the safe, secure, compliant, and predictable delivery of the Vaasa Metro portfolio, currently covering six concurrent data center projects at different stages of design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
- Establish the metro delivery strategy, governance model, priorities, and integrated plans across scope, schedule, cost, capacity, quality, sustainability, and operational readiness.
- Align campus and project teams, regional leaders, business partners, utilities, authorities, and other key stakeholders around shared outcomes, clear ownership, and timely decision-making.
