About the position

This role provides a unique opportunity to support us in shaping the energy transition and the energy business at Wärtsilä. The position will be based in Helsinki, Finland.

As a Power System Analyst, you will: Actively engage in and provide robust support for our global market development and decarbonization service activities, utilizing power system modelling tools such as Plexos - power system optimization software, Python and Excel-based tools. Leverage these tools to analyse opportunities and quantify system-level benefits.

Conduct comprehensive energy market and country analyses to underpin project and market development initiatives, offering valuable insights and strategic guidance.

Collaborate in supporting Wärtsilä strategy by contributing to the development of compelling value propositions, conducting feasibility analyses, and creating sophisticated analysis tools.

Perform techno-commercial analyses for projects, playing a key role in supporting the sales organization and ensuring a thorough understanding of the market landscape.
