About this role
As an In-Room Dining Waiter – Nights, you will provide warm, discreet, and personalised service to our guests throughout the night. You will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms with care and attention to detail, while ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards of luxury hospitality.
Working during the overnight hours, you will also help maintain the In-Room Dining operation and prepare the service for the following morning, ensuring that everything is clean, organised, and ready for breakfast.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest calls and requests promptly, warmly, and professionally.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them correctly into the pointof-sale system.
- Have a strong knowledge of the In-Room Dining menu, beverages, promotions, and daily offerings.
- Prepare, collect, and deliver orders to guest rooms, ensuring that everything is complete and presented to a high standard.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, allergies, dietary requirements, and special occasions with care and discretion.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Maintain a professional and discreet approach when entering and leaving guest rooms.
- Communicate with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and orders are handled smoothly.
- Keep In-Room Dining areas, service stations, and storage areas clean, tidy, and well stocked throughout the night.
- Replenish beverages, service items, cutlery, glassware, and other supplies as required.
- Ensure cutlery and glassware are clean, polished, and ready for use.
- Collect trays, trolleys, and used service items from guest rooms and other areas of the hotel when required.
- Keep an eye on the overall cleanliness and presentation of the In-Room Dining areas throughout the shift.
