Embedded directly within key partner initiatives, FDE squads shorten the path from development to fielded capability, validating product features where assumptions are tested against operational reality.

This is not a standard implementation role; it is a high-stakes engineering position where you tailor our platforms to the complex, real-world environments of our most critical partners. We are looking for a senior builder who understands that in mission-critical domains, "good enough" doesn't exist. You will bring a high degree of architectural depth to solve problems where software meets hardware in the physical world.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Mission-Specific Engineering: Technical leadership for client projects, taking full ownership of technical decisions to rapidly deploy and customize our platforms to specific client needs.

Architectural Integration: Design, develop, and deploy solutions that connect edge devices, UAV sensors, and situational intelligence platforms into a cohesive operational picture supporting customer operating environments.

AI-Driven Development: Utilize AI-driven development workflows to accelerate delivery cycles with our platforms without compromising the sovereign and reliable core of our systems.

Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with client technical teams and internal product R&D to translate complex field requirements into scalable product features. Create rapid prototypes to explore future client aspirations.

Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer engagements, providing the architectural "glue" between disparate data sources and decision-support interfaces.

Qualifications

Generalist Mindset & Adaptability: A versatile generalist profile; you enjoy changing scenery, adapt quickly to unfamiliar codebases, and feel comfortable operating across diverse technical ecosystems.

A deep technical foundation and 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Cloud, AI, Edge/Embedded Computing, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.

A proven ability to think in "spatial" terms—understanding how AI interacts with physical environments and complex hardware architectures.

You communicate fluently both in English and Swedish. You also have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently collaborate with external partners, translate business/operational needs into engineering reality, and lead client-facing deployments.

Mindset: You thrive in "mission-first" environments and possess the Nordic engineering ethos of building systems that earn trust through performance, not promises.

Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10% of worktime) to client sites within Europe to ensure field-proven performance.

Pluses: Previous consulting or customer-facing engineering experience.
