Marketing Director - Lung Cancer (m/f/d)
Join GSK at a defining moment as we build our Lung Cancer franchise in Germany and prepare for several high-focus launches. As Marketing Director Lung Cancer, you will shape the commercial foundation for this new franchise, lead a team of Brand Managers and translate deep lung cancer expertise, strategic insight and hands-on execution into meaningful impact for patients.
Responsibilities in this role:
Drive launch readiness for several high-focus lung cancer launches in close collaboration with the Commercial Launch Lead and relevant cross-functional partners, including Medical, Market Access, Commercial, Sales and Regulatory, translating brand, customer and market insights into clear local launch strategies, aligned priorities, timelines and execution plans.
Build, lead and develop a team of Brand Managers in developing and executing local brand strategies and tactics across the lung cancer portfolio, while fostering individual development, talent management and synergies across indications and assets.
Build strong partnerships with global and regional teams to shape launch excellence and drive impactful local marketing strategy and execution.
Generate insights on customer perception, message effectiveness and market opportunities through market research and direct customer engagement.
Forecasting including supply and required A&P/resources.
Planning of turnover, sales, and resources as well as monthly controlling.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or economics.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in Rx marketing, first people leadership experience and first sales experience.
Experience in Lung Cancer mandatory.
Proven track record of high-performance oncology launches and driving business results in competitive markets.
Profound understanding of Omnichannel Marketing.
Good understanding of local market access regulations.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to analyse complex data, identify business opportunities and translate insights into clear long-term customer-centric strategies.
Ability to identify clear priorities, align stakeholders and drive disciplined execution with strong ownership for results.
Self-confident handling of complexity and ambiguity, with growth mindset and strong learning agility.
Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills across internal and external stakeholders.
Strong external focus, with a drive for excellence and innovation.
Fluent in German and English.
Working model
This role is hybrid, based in Munich, Germany with regular time in the office and travel to meetings and customer activities as needed.
