About the role
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern data solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to ensure that data is transformed into valuable insights and business outcomes.
This is a hands-on role where you will gain experience across the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and analytics.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with Business Analysts and source system teams to identify and understand data requirements
Onboarding and managing data within an Enterprise Data Lake environment
Developing and maintaining data pipelines and transformation processes
Moving and transforming data into SQL databases and data warehouses according to business needs
Building and maintaining reporting and analytical data models
Implementing business logic and KPI calculations based on stakeholder requirements
Supporting the development of end-to-end analytics solutions together with other IT delivery teams
Participating in the lifecycle management and continuous improvement of delivered solutions
Ensuring data quality, consistency, and usability across various platforms
