About this role

Sesam is PostNord's platform for digital access to parcel lockers and other digitally locked delivery spaces across the Nordics.

As part of PostNord's growing Out of Home delivery network, Sesam enables secure and seamless interactions between customers, delivery personnel and a wide range of locker solutions.

Behind the simple user experience lies a complex technical environment involving mobile apps, APIs, backend services, third-party SDKs, Bluetooth-enabled hardware and integrations with multiple locker providers across Nordic markets.

We're now looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and help shape the future of our Out of Home network.

About the Role

As an Android Developer, you will build and maintain mobile solutions that communicate with backend services, APIs, third-party SDKs and physical hardware.

You'll work with:

Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Bluetooth communication and device integrations

REST APIs and backend services

Background processing and synchronization

CI/CD, testing and modern development practices

You will also contribute to architecture discussions, technical decisions and the future evolution of the Sesam platform.

We believe you have:

BSc in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

5+ years of mobile development experience

Strong Android development experience, in either Kotlin and/or Java

Experience with Jetpack Compose

Experience with asynchronous and reactive programming

Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services

Experience with Bluetooth communication

Experience integrating third-party SDKs

Experience with CI/CD, testing and

EU Requirements
