Responsibilities
- We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer to join our Database OEM team. This is a highly visible, cross-cutting team focused on delivering Aiven's database services (PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Valkey) to our most strategic, high-revenue partners, ensuring their unique needs, scale, and challenges are met with world-class solutions.
- In this role, you will be key to designing customer-specific solutions and driving direct and indirect enhancements across these three database services. Success requires close collaboration with internal Product teams to advocate for partner needs and a strong commitment to increasing automation and reaction speed of critical partner requests. You will be expected to balance internal engineering needs with external partner requirements, acting as a crucial interface. Given the high-stakes nature of this work, you must be an excellent communicator with great attention to detail, capable of seamlessly managing context between different high-value customers.
