Before you apply, please read through our <a target="_blank" href="https://career.weroad.travel/culture-manifesto/">Cultural Manifesto</a> 👥</p><p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p><p><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong> Portfolio Analyst</p><p><strong>LOCATION:</strong> Full-remote OR Hybrid (Milan HQ)</p><p><strong>TYPE OF CONTRACT:</strong> Permanent contract / full-time</p><p><strong>SALARY RANGE: </strong>€30.000-€36.000 gross/year + Bonus</p><p><strong>REPORTING TO:</strong> Revenue Manager<br></p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Own the global portfolio visibility and performance tracking</strong>, ensuring every WeRoad itinerary is monitored for sales, conversion, fill rate, and margin performance across all markets and product categories (TO and WRX).<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Run portfolio analyses</strong> to identify which itineraries to scale, optimize, or kill, using data-driven insights on demand, profitability, reviews, and customer interest.<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Monitor and evaluate competitive offerings</strong>, leveraging AI-based benchmarking tools to compare itineraries, prices, and product positioning against top competitors and emerging players.<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Analyze market trends and traveler behavior</strong> to detect shifts in customer preferences, uncover gaps in the current portfolio, and identify new product development opportunities.<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Assess the depth and balance of the offering</strong>, ensuring that WeRoad maintains the right mix of destinations, durations, price ranges, and travel moods while minimizing stock-out risk and operational inefficiencies.<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Supervise offering planning and availability</strong>, verifying that all suppliers and internal teams confirm services and departures in line with forecasted demand for the next 18–24 months.<br><br></p></li><li><p><strong>Collaborate with the Revenue Manager and Supply Managers </strong>to align portfolio management with demand forecasting and contracting strategies, ensuring cohesion between commercial, supply, and market goals.<br></p></li><li><p><strong>Act as the central voice of portfolio health</strong> in Monthly Business Reviews, providing performance insights, competitor signals, and recommendations on new itinerary testing or deactivation.</p></li></ul><p></p><ul><li><p><strong>Experiment with AI </strong>to continuously improve our analytical capabilities and automation for enhancing speed and precision in portfolio decision-making.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>AI Native knowledge of pricing, revenue, offering, competitor benchmarking.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>A data-savvy and analytically strong professional who combines quantitative reasoning with strategic intuition, capable of reading numbers and translating them into actionable insights.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>1 or 2 years of experience in Portfolio or product performance analysis, ideally within travel, e-commerce, or marketplace environments where assortment management and pricing optimization are key.<br></p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of supply-demand dynamics, customer segmentation, and lifecycle performance of products or experiences.<br></p></li><li><p>Hands-on with tools a
