Responsibilities
- Lead the development and commercialization of Lonza's oligonucleotide service offering and growth strategy.
- Own commercial strategy execution, driving market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Serve as the scientific and technical subject matter expert during customer engagements, conferences, and strategic discussions.
- Partner with Marketing to create technical content, value propositions, and thought leadership materials.
- Identify
- market opportunities, competitive differentiators, and emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Site Leadership, R&D, Portfolio Management, and executive stakeholders.
- Provide
- strategic guidance on oligonucleotide technologies, process development pathways, and commercialization plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or
- a related
- field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience within CDMO, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences industries, including comme
- rcial or
- business development responsibilities.
- Expertise
- in oligonucleotide development, manufacturing, or commercialization.
- Strong strategic thinking, program management, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to influence and lead within complex matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with
- executive
- level presence.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% for site visits, internal meetings, industry conferences and customer visits.
