Do you have a passion for beauty products and an interest in product development, quality and compliance?

We’re looking for a Chemist to join our Beauty Production Quality team, where you’ll play a key role in bringing beauty products from idea to market. The Beauty Production Quality team supports all H&M Group brands developing private label beauty products. As part of a global organisation, you’ll work with a wide range of products, teams and suppliers, contributing to the development of beauty products sold across multiple markets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is an opportunity to work across multiple H&M Group brands and contribute to the development of high-quality beauty products from concept to launch. You’ll join a highly knowledgeable team where science, innovation and collaboration come together while building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers around the world.

In the role as Chemist, you’ll support products through the development process and help teams make informed decisions on formulations, testing, quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Support product development from initial brief through launch and market follow up

Partner closely with Buying and Production teams

Communicate technical insights, test results and recommendations to stakeholders across the product development process

Collaborate with suppliers on formulation development and product quality

Plan, execute and evaluate consumer and in-house product testing

Secure that products meet quality, safety and compliance requirements globally

Support product registrations and documentation for all markets

Contribute with expert guidance on ingredients, formulations and product performance
