As the Commercial Project Manager, you will commercially manage several new apparatus and service R&D projects including external funding scope. Through your evaluations and analyses, you create a high level of transparency of the activities of the R&D project execution also for the respective testing facilities, make their financial effects visible and, together with the team, define adjustment for improvements.

Your close interaction with the technical community as well as external partners lays the foundation for high planning and forecast accuracy expected by the various. By automating reports and our digital tool landscape, you make a significant economic contribution.

How you’ll make an impact

Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, milestone adherence, and timely delivery; consolidate project information.

Lead commercial and financial topics in close cooperation with technical project managers, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and project close‑out reporting.

Monitor and control project finances, including costs, expenditures, funding, and key financial KPIs.

Prepare regular financial reports, management dashboards, and performance presentations for key stakeholders.

Identify financial deviations, risks, and opportunities, and drive corrective actions throughout project execution.

Partner closely with project teams to ensure compliance with defined financial, contractual, and funding requirements.

Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, compliance standards, and legal regulations related to project controlling and financial reporting

Manage reporting and compliance requirements for funded R&D projects, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

Actively leverage IT expertise to automate processes, use databases, and continuously improve project controlling tools and methodologies.

What you bring
