About the job

As Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of Alfa Laval's laboratory assets, including test rigs, laboratory equipment, and supporting utility systems. This is a hands-on position where your practical technical expertise will help us strengthen our in-house maintenance capabilities, improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime.

You will work closely with a highly technical team, supporting daily laboratory operations while also contributing to the development of maintenance routines, procedures, and best practices. With a broad range of equipment and technical challenges, the role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on both daily operations and long-term improvements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test rigs, laboratory equipment, and utility systems.

Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to identify effective solutions.

Support the installation, modification, and commissioning of new and existing laboratory equipment.

Plan and document maintenance activities in the CMMS.

Improve preventive maintenance routines and contribute to maintenance procedures and best practices.
