Job Summary

We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our development organisation within Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Management. In this role, you will act as System Owner for one or several inline inspection systems, driving both development and lifecycle management. This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden, with approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities

  • As Development Engineer – Inline Systems, you will join a team working with inline systems such as print inspection, surface inspection, gauging, and grammage measurement, all with the aim of improving the quality of Tetra Pak packaging products.
  • In this role, you will be involved in a broad range of development activities and collaborate closely with colleagues across functions in an agile working environment.
  • Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Developing systems and equipment for defect analysis using process measuring systems, camera-based inspection systems, and similar technologies
  • Taking System Owner and Product Lifecycle responsibility for selected systems
  • Defining requirements and working closely with suppliers, including testing and validation Improving defect classification using AI and related technologies
  • We believe you have
  • University degree within Engineering, Data Science, Vision Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience from maintaining products in the field of Vision Technology, Cameras, Image Analysis or Machine learning is an advantage
  • Field testing experience with testing and validation of new equipment.
  • Basic knowledge in High level programming (e.g. Python, C#
