INTRODUCTION

Would you like to build and test software that controls real heavy machinery, not just something that runs on a screen? We are looking for a DevOps / Software Engineer to join Metso's Aggregates software team in Tampere. Your main focus will be test automation and DevOps, while you will also contribute to software development as project needs change.

You will work on a new generation of software for mobile crushers (Lokotrack). These are large industrial machines that turn bigger rocks into smaller material. The machines contain many hardware units that monitor and control different functions, and our software connects these units, supports the operator interface and collects data for further processing.

We are open to different levels of professional experience. You may have gained your skills through software or DevOps work, internships, studies or personal projects. You do not need previous experience in heavy industry, but you should have enough practical knowledge to work with CI/CD, scripting, automated testing and container technologies. What matters most is that your technical background matches the role and you are interest
