About this role

We’re looking for a Program Controller for a global automotive company in Gothenburg. Start is September 1st, 6 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.

Assignment description and main responsibilities

In this role, you will support the development of vehicle programs throughout key milestones. As a Program Controller, you will work closely with the Program Manager and provide support on all financial topics to help steer programs efficiently and effectively.

The role focuses on controlling program investments as well as monitoring the profitability of vehicle programs throughout their full lifecycle. You will collaborate with a wide range of functions, including Program Management, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Design, Procurement, Business Planning, Volume Planning, and other key stakeholders.

The position also requires close cooperation with external development partners and program counterparts responsible for creating cost estimates and development work proposals. You will participate in all financial planning processes, including Forecasting, Budgeting, and Business Planning, for your assigned vehicle program. This includes responsibility for both investment tracking and profitability performance.

Actively steer the program towards set targets. The program controller is responsible for delivering quality assured data into program milestones and to be an active part in the decision making in the programs

Responsible for program cost tracker

Responsible for securing and delivering cost and investment data into Program milestones, including explaining what activities that drives variances

Responsible for securing accuracy and transparency in the profit model input, Eg by monitoring system status and take actions where needed.

Active in decisions related to IPL and/or BPL, by providing timely data, investigations and/or business cases

Collaborate with different stakeholders across the company to optimize
