About the position
We are looking for a Buyer for our client, a well-known company withing the automotive industry. You will be working from the office based in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As part of the Logistics Procurement team, you will play a key role in developing supplier strategies and securing efficient transport solutions across Ocean, Road, Rail, Air and multimodal services. You will work in a global environment, collaborating closely with suppliers and stakeholders across logistics, engineering and manufacturing to create value through cost, quality and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects and negotiations
- Develop and implement category and supplier strategies
- Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Prepare and execute negotiations, including supplier selection and contract management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Analyze data and market conditions to make informed recommendations and decisions
- Manage supplier agreements and monitor supplier performance
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to optimize cost, quality and sustainability
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team and stakeholders across different functions and locations
