Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a new Production Supervisor to join our team at ABB Oy, Distribution Solutions in Vaasa.

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will lead, train, and motivate a team, enforce safety protocols, and implement quality control measures. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, maintain production records, and promote and execute continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with other p roduction supervisors, s upply chain management, o rder handling team, g lobal manufacturing support team, s ales, q uality , R&D and NPI-team.

As a production supervisor you will also need to be prepared for some work in the evening shift as our production is mainly organized around a 2-shift model.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Planning, overseeing and supporting daily assembly line operations

Ensuring safety, quality, efficient and on-time deliveries

Ensuring that we reach the annual targets and customer expectations

Leading, training and motivating production teams

Qualifications for the Role

B. Sc. or M.Sc. degree in industrial management, electrical and/or automation, or related field

A few years of working experience.
