As our architect on the ground in Spain joining our local team in Madrid, you will become part of our mission to build a Europe-wide network of 1,000 beautiful fast-charging stations where electric drivers can charge their cars with energy from the sun and wind. Responsibilities
- As an Architect at Fastned, you contribute to the success of the company with your creative and spatial thinking, providing station designs that score the highest in customer experience and that integrate our modular Fastned stations into service areas along the highways. - Your role as an Architect is crucial to our multidisciplinary team. In your day-to-day job, you will spend most of your time with our local Madrid team. - What you’ll do
- You will create design concepts based on Fastned's modular design standards and guide your own projects through phases 1-4 of design and construction planning.
- You will conduct site visits. To get a clear picture, you will check survey data, possible entrances and exits, how traffic flows and gather other important information.
- You will create creative design solutions for challenging locations – for an optimal charging experience for our customers.
- You will work with local authorities and many external partners and coordinate with them on a regular basis.
- You draw up complete plans for building permit procedures.
- You work very closely with your direct colleague in the location design team, as well as the expansion and construction teams to deliver high-quality construction documents within the agreed timeframe.
- You see yourself as an ambassador for Fastned and electric mobility, both internally and externally, and help everyone involved to understand and support our concept.
