Sportsbook Pre-Match Manager

As Pre-Match Manager, you will lead Veikkaus' Sportsbook Pre-Match Trading team and take ownership of our pre-match offering across all sports. This is a unique opportunity to shape how pre-match trading is run in-house, define operating models, implement best practices and drive the competitiveness of our sportsbook.

You will be responsible for developing the team's capabilities, managing the pre-match market offering, pricing and margins, and ensuring data-driven decision making across odds compilation, liabilities and trading performance. Working closely with Risk Management, Product, BI and Technology, you will help drive the continued evolution of Veikkaus' in-house sportsbook operations.

You will thrive in this position, if you have:

Extensive experience in sportsbook pre-match trading, odds compilation and market management across multiple sports.

At least 5-7 years of experience managing teams - this is a requirement for the position.

Strong understanding of betting mathematics, pricing, margins, liabilities and market behaviour.

Experience developing trading strategies and processes that improve the profitability and competitiveness of the pre-match offering.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable trading decisions.

Experience working with trading platforms, odds feeds and sportsbook management systems.

Ability to lead change, develop people and establish best practices within a growing organization.
