Your mission

We are looking for an R&D Engineer, Control Systems to join our Demountables division's Control Systems team. You will have an important role in designing and developing the embedded software solutions of demountable products. You will participate in and execute engineering design, development, project delivery and completion. You will work in close cooperation with other departments and provide them with technical support. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.

The primary locations for this position is Raisio, Finland, but we are also open to applications from Tampere and Helsinki.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development activities in PLC software development in cooperation with other specialists
  • Responsible for development of display and camera systems in demountables products
  • Creating and implementing new control solutions based on customer needs
  • Following and developing design processes, including requirement gathering, validation methods, implementation of software and generating the documentation
  • Cooperate with universities, suppliers and other partners and support different stakeholders in control systems related issues.

Requirements

  • A university degree (Master's or Bachelor's level) from a relevant technical field, like computer science, electrics, electronics or automation engineering
  • Experience from programming (C, C++, Codesys, Qt)
  • Practical knowledge of Atlassian tools and version management systems
  • Demonstrated experience from display systems and knowledge from camera systems
  • Experience from modelling and simulation (Matlab, Simulink, Simspace) is seen as benefit
  • Knowledge of requirement management and safety of machinery processes is see
