As a Software Engineer in Global Retail, you'll shape how customers discover, browse, and buy retail products - apparel, beauty, electronics, auto parts and more - across Wolt, DoorDash and Deliveroo. Retail is a large growth opportunity for the business, and our mission is to be the most trusted and magical way to shop the brands and local stores customers love. You'll play a key role in making that real - from product discovery through to shopping experience in the apps millions of people use every day. You'll join an evolving area where we are replacing and improving parts of the existing consumer apps, building specific retail journeys within large-scale B2C applications. This means working in a complex environment where multiple teams own different parts of the same app, and where strong technical judgment is needed to create consistency, quality and speed across teams. The Merchant Group consists of 150+ engineers across 25+ cross-functional teams, working together to help merchants grow their businesses and streamline operations through innovative technology. Some of us focus on building seamless experiences for our merchants, while others work on the behind-the-scenes magic that makes everything run smoothly.
