The work

We're looking for a Senior System Administrator I to take ownership of key technical services and help keep our infrastructure running smoothly, securely, and reliably.

In this role, you will take ownership of designated technical IT services, executing development tasks and contributing to project roadmap initiatives. You'll monitor and optimize uptime for internal and customer-facing production systems, plan and carry out upgrade and maintenance activities, and handle day-to-day administration of our IT infrastructure.

Documentation is a key part of this role - you'll keep records for IT systems and services accurate and current. You'll also analyze logs to catch critical alerts and resolve issues proactively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design and evolve infrastructure and applications.

What you'll actually do

Take ownership and responsibility of named technical IT services

Execute IT development tasks and project roadmap initiatives

Monitor and optimize uptime for internal and customer-facing production systems

Plan & perform upgrade and maintenance activities

Document IT systems and services, keeping records current

Analyze logs for critical alerts and resolve issues proactively

Develop, administer and maintain IT infrastructure and systems at IQM globally
