Neurorehabilitation consultant to Ireland
About this role
On behalf of a well-established healthcare provider in Ireland, we are seeking experienced consultants in physical and rehabilitation medicine (PRM) with expertise in neurorehabilitation for 6-12-month positions, with the possibility of extension.

About the position
As a consultant in physical and rehabilitation medicine, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning and ongoing management of patients requiring specialised neurological rehabilitation.
You will work with patients with complex rehabilitation needs following neurological injury or illness, supporting them in achieving the highest possible level of independence, function and quality of life.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and play an important role in coordinating rehabilitation programmes and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Typical responsibilities
Assessment and management of patients requiring specialist neurorehabilitation
Developing and overseeing individualised rehabilitation programmes
Leading and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
Clinical decision-making and treatment planning
Supporting patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process
Collaborating closely with other medical specialists and healthcare professionals
Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and service development
We are looking for candidates who
Are a specialist in physical and rehabilitation medicine (Rehabilitation Medicine)
Have solid experience in neurorehabilitation and the management of patients with complex rehabilitation needs
Have excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
Communicate clearly and confidently with patients, families and colleagues
Maintain high professional standards with a strong focus on quality and patient experience
