Not every unforgettable safari starts in the wilderness. Some begin with a warm welcome, the right equipment and someone making sure everything is ready behind the scenes. As a Safari House Coordinator, you help create those first moments and ensure every adventure starts smoothly.

We are looking for an organized, positive and service-minded Safari House Coordinator to join our team for the upcoming winter season.

StayLapland is a family-owned company based in Rovaniemi, offering high-quality winter activities and accommodation services for travelers. Our locations include Kuoksa Wilderness Park, a private activity park located in the heart of nature Postmaster Hotel, a historic post office building renovated with respect for tradition and modern comfort and Aurora Hill Resort, which provides accommodation and experiences in the stunning landscapes of Ollerovaara.

What the job is really like

As a Safari House Coordinator, you are at the heart of our daily safari operations. Your day includes welcoming guests, helping them find the correct winter clothing, answering practical questions and making sure everyone is ready for their adventure.

Behind the scenes, you prepare everything needed for the day's safaris from organizing equipment and winter clothing to preparing tour snacks and refreshments. You are also responsible for washing and drying textiles, replenishing stock and keeping the Safari House clean, organized and ready for daily operations. You support our guides by ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared before departures and returned to the correct place afterwards.

No two days are exactly the same. The role is varied and fast-paced, with your attention shifting between guests, preparing equipment, organizing supplies and supporting daily operations. It requires good organizational skills, efficiency, flexibility and a hands-on attitude.
