The working student will support the protoshop in 3D printing and milling activities as well as qualification and validation tasks in pipette development at our Helsinki site. The position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) for 6 months alongside studies.
Main Responsibilities & TasksSupport 3D printing activities in the protoshop (file preparation, basic operation and simple maintenance under supervision).
Assist in milling protoshop tasks (e.g. preparation of parts, simple machining steps, cleaning and setup).
Perform basic qualification and validation tasks for pipette development (test execution, measurements and documentation) according to instructions.
Document test results and maintain orderly records.
Follow all safety, quality and cleanliness guidelines in the workshop and lab environment.
Qualification & SkillsEnrolled student in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Basic hands-on skills in a workshop / prototyping environment (3D printing, machining) are an advantage.
Interest in product development, prototyping and qualification/validation work.
Careful, reliable and structured way of working.
Ability to work independently under guidance and as part of a team.
