The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) aims to provide modern, open and impactful research infrastructure services for natural resources research-both nationally and internationally. The availability and quality of Luke's research infrastructure services are continuously developed in close collaboration with national and international partners.
Your role as a Principal Specialist:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Specialist in research infrastructure development, with the ability to work in demanding roles related to strategic research, research infrastructure funding, and the development of research infrastructures at both national and international levels.
You will be part of the Research Infrastructure Services, Data and Methods Development team, contributing to the development of the research infrastructures provided by Luke. You will play a key role in supporting responsible researchers in preparing development plans for research infrastructures, as well as in securing funding.
You will:
Coordinate the utilisation of national and international funding opportunities for Luke's research infrastructures (including regional, national, Nordic and European funding sources)
Strengthen the visibility of Luke's technology infrastructures both nationally and internationally
Support the integration of Luke's research and technology infrastructures into client-oriented work
Contribute to ensuring the safe and responsible use of research infrastructures
