About this role
We are currently seeking a responsible, hardworking, and proactive Logistics Operative to join our team on a major data center construction project in Vaasa, Finland.
This is a full-time, long-term position offering stable employment on a large-scale construction site.
As a Logistics Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining the organization, safety, and efficiency of the construction site. You will support daily logistics operations, site maintenance activities, material organization, and general site setup to ensure smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and accessible walkways throughout the construction site.
- Install, maintain, and repair temporary fencing and site barriers.
- Install and relocate site signage, safety notices, and directional signs as required.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, material compounds, and logistics zones.
- Assist with site housekeeping and ensure work areas remain clean and safe.
- Carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks around the site.
- Support the setup and relocation of temporary site facilities and equipment.
- Monitor site logistics areas and report any safety concerns or operational issues.
- Assist site management with general logistics and site coordination tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- Fluent English language skills (spoken and understood).
- Legal right to work in Finland within the construction industry.
- Valid Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti).
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking attitude.
- Previous experience in construction logistics, site support, or general construction work is considered an advantage.
