About this role
We are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver with proven construction site experience to join our team on a major data center construction project in Vaasa, Finland.
This is a full-time, long-term position offering stable employment on a large-scale construction site.
As a Telehandler Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of telehandlers to support daily construction and logistics activities. You will work closely with site management, logistics personnel, and subcontractors to ensure materials are delivered safely and efficiently throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently in accordance with site regulations and safety procedures.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and trucks.
- Transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the site.
- Assist with the organization and management of storage areas and material compounds.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations on time.
- Carry out daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
- Assist with general site logistics and material handling activities when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Comply with all site safety procedures and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Fluent English language skills (spoken and understood).
- Legal right to work in Finland within the construction industry.
- Valid Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti).
- Valid Mobile Machinery Training Certificate (Työkonekoulutus).
- Previous experience operating telehandlers on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of safe lifting and material handling practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking attitude.
