Spotter/Traffic Marshal

About this role

Responsibilities

• Direct and regulate traffic movements within the construction site.
• Guide and assist heavy machinery operators during maneuvering and operation.
• Act as a spotter for construction vehicles and equipment to prevent accidents and collisions.
• Maintain safe routes for vehicles, machinery, and pedestrians.
• Monitor site traffic and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate clearly with machine operators, drivers, site management, and other workers.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Requirements

• Fluent English language skills (spoken and understood).
• Legal right to work in Finland within the construction industry.
• Valid Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti).
• Valid Road Safety 1 Certificate (Tieturva 1).
• Strong awareness of construction site safety procedures.
• Ability to work responsibly, independently, and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
