Revvity is currently looking for a

R&D Scientist

Fixed term (6 months)

Turku, Finland / R&D

Our Turku site, Wallac Oy, is one of the largest production and product development units within Revvity's diagnostics business. Currently, more than 500 employees work in Turku. We develop and manufacture instruments, chemical reagents, and software for screening and research purposes. We are a market leader in providing screening systems for newborns and pregnant women, and our products are in use in over 100 countries.

Role Description:

You will be a member of the MSMS team developing new products in newborn screening

You will plan and report feasibility, stability and verification studies, and process characterization and validation studies

You will work in the lab as well as instruct the work of lab technicians

You will be interacting a lot within the development team, other functions and collaboration sites

Role Requirements:

Degree (MSc or PhD) in Chemistry/Biochemistry or equivalent education

Proven experience on MSMS technology and/or in IVD industry

Fluent reporting and communication skills in English and Finnish

Proactive, resourceful, independent and a good team player in the cross functional and international development team
