Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a product development and engineering team focused on designing, enhancing, and optimizing mechanical systems and structures. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative development projects, supporting the creation of new products and the improvement of existing mechanical designs within a robotics and industrial engineering environment.
This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical design, engineering analysis, and product development, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, business objectives, and applicable technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in development projects involving the design, enhancement, and optimization of mechanical structures and components.
- Create, modify, and improve machinery, equipment, and mechanical products based on project requirements.
- Perform engineering calculations, technical evaluations, and design analyses to support product development activities.
- Utilize engineering software and computer-based tools to prepare technical reports, documentation, and design assessments.
- Independently execute engineering tasks requiring sound judgment and application of established engineering principles.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage complex engineering activities across one or multiple technical disciplines.
- Conduct technical investigations and feasibility studies to identify effective engineering solutions.
- Develop recommendations based on engineering best practices, business objectives, and regulatory considerations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables.
