Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to support the development of connected software solutions within a leading industrial technology environment.
What You Will Work On
Drive software development across all product lifecycle phases
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Android-based applications and services
Develop software solutions for embedded and device-oriented platforms
Build integrations between onboard systems and cloud services
Design reliable communication mechanisms between edge devices and backend platforms
Support connected product initiatives and digital service ecosystems
Develop scalable and maintainable software architectures
Troubleshoot and optimize software performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams
Participate in technical design discussions and architecture decisions
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices
Ensure software quality through testing, validation, and best practices
What You Bring
Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on Android development expertise
Experience building robust and scalable Android applications and services
Experience working with embedded or device-based software platforms
Strong understanding of connected systems and digital ecosystems
Experience integrating device software with cloud-based services
Knowledge of IoT communication patterns and protocols
Experience with REST, MQTT, gRPC, or similar technologies
Understanding of distributed systems architecture
Experience designing reliable data exchange mechanisms between edge and cloud systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle
