We are now looking for an Interim HR Manager for our client to support a manufacturing site in Mäntsälä, Finland. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of daily HR operations, supporting leaders, and enabling the organization to perform at its best. In this role, you will be the trusted HR partner to site supervisors, make sure that employee relations are managed proactively, and that the organization has the structure and support it needs to succeed. You will bring clarity, stability, and practical solutions to everyday HR topics while also supporting ongoing development initiatives.
Role Overview
Your day-to-day work combines operational HR, employee relations, and advisory support to leaders. You will take ownership of local HR activities and ensure continuity, consistency, and compliance in a dynamic plant environment.
Your responsibilities include, for example:
Acting as an HR partner and advisor to plant leadership on daily HR topics
Managing employee relations cases
Ensuring compliance with local labor law, collective agreements, and company policies
Monitoring and analyzing HR KPIs (and providing insights for decision-making
Supporting recruitment activities and onboarding processes where needed
Supporting ongoing HR projects and contributing to process improvements
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment
What We Expect from You
You are a practical, solution-oriented HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
We expect you to have:
Suitable educational background (e.g., University of Applied Sciences)
Solid experience in HR generalist or HR Business Partner roles
Experience with union relations and collective bargaining environments
Strong knowledge of employee relations and Finnish labor law
Experience working in a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment
