Product Technology Engineer

About this role

Responsibilities

• Understand the infrastructure and technological development trends of data centers in Finland and Nordic countries, be familiar with fire protection system architectures and global mainstream suppliers, and be knowledgeable about Finnish fire protection system design codes and implementation standards
• Collaborate with design consulting firms to develop fire protection design solutions based on customer data center construction requirements, including fire detection, fire alarm, water-based fire suppression, and gas-based fire suppression systems
• Be responsible for the detailed design and review of fire protection system construction drawings, and deliver design drawings and bill of quantities that meet pre-sales bidding and construction requirements, supporting project cost estimation, procurement inquiries, and engineering accounting
• Participate in on-site construction technical guidance to ensure successful project delivery
• Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree or above in water supply and drainage, electrical automation, or related fields, with more than 3 years of experience in fire protection and water supply and drainage. Experience in large design institutes is preferred.
• Experience in the design or delivery of fire protection systems for large data centers or estate plants.
• Proficient in EU and Finnish national standards, design, and construction codes.
• Familiar with the processes of bidding, design proposals, and implementation in construction projects, and capable of independently completing high-level design, construction drawing design, and product selecti
