We are looking for a motivated summer employee to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a system transformation project at Makita.
Here is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in digital services, systems, and user experience to gain hands-on experience in a real project environment! The position is fixed-term, starting as early as June and continuing until August 31st, 2026. This position is well suited for a university or university of applied sciences student looking to gain hands-on experience in a real project environment. The employment contract will be with Eilakaisla, but you will work at the Makita's office in Tuusula.
About the role
In this role, you will focus on testing websites, customer and end-user portals, as well as related processes and back-office functionalities. The work is largely independent, but you will also collaborate closely with an international project team. This role has been opened to support an ongoing system transformation project during the summer period. As the project continues through the holiday season, additional support is needed to ensure smooth progress. The working language in this role is English.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will take part in user acceptance testing across different systems and user interfaces. The work includes executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting bugs, issues, and observations to the project team. Testing is carried out based on predefined test cases and requirements, with findings documented and reported using tools such as Jira and Microsoft Office. You will test various user journeys and processes, such as ordering flows, service processes, user accounts, and forms. In addition, you will work with back-office functionalities and user permissions, helping to ensure that systems work seamlessly from both the end-user and operational perspectives.
