Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to our Industry division to work in various project management and engineering management tasks in large EPCM or Detail Engineering projects.
Work tasks include:
Engineering and project management in different phases of industrial projects.
Ensure project delivery in accordance with the AFRY EPCM model and governing documents.
Lead, coach and coordinate the Project Management Team and cross-discipline leads (engineering, procurement, construction), including resource planning and competence assurance.
Establish and run robust planning, reporting and cost control processes.
Drive effective change management and reporting of deviations.
Lead proactive risk & opportunity management and maintain the risk register
Maintain strong communication and stakeholder management, e.g. lead client interfaces, partner/supplier negotiations and steering-group reporting.
Ensure that our high quality and HSE&S standards permeate all project phases.
Document and share lessons learned within the project organization.
Your main location will be in Vantaa but working at AFRY's other offices is also possible.
Requirements
- In order to succeed in this role, you have:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) or similar.
- 10+ years of experience in multidiscipline Detail Engineering and/or EPCM projects.
- Safety oriented attitude.
- Excellent co-operation, leadership and communications skills.
- Ability to lead large, multidisciplinary and global teams and solve complex conflict situations.
- Knowledge of the different engineering disciplines and understanding of multidisciplinary work requirements.
- Hands on experience with Earned Value Management
- Understanding of project and engineering management and project controls tools and practices
- Project Managers also participate in Sales and Development, so we appreciate sales and entrepreneurial attitude and possibility to travel in Finland and abroad.
