About the Role You will take ownership of intake and plastic components in a global powertrain environment working with diesel, petrol and hybrid applications. The role covers the full lifecycle of engine components across development, production and aftermarket, with a strong focus on turning concepts into robust, production-ready solutions. You will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to balance technology, risk and cost, secure deliveries, and make sure each solution fits both vehicle integration and product requirements. Job DescriptionYou will evaluate concepts and design options to identify the best solution based on technology, risk and cost. You will create and drive time plans, report progress, and keep technical documentation up to date, including 2D drawings, 3D models and engineering specifications. You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure deliveries for prototype builds and later project phases. You will collaborate with packaging teams to ensure components are integrated correctly in the vehicle. You will own the design of build-to-print components and lead development to meet complete product requirements. You will work with full-service suppliers to make sure delivered products meet technical and functional expectations.
