About this role

We are looking for a Wind Turbine Rotor Engineer to strengthen our Rotor Team and contribute to the development of next-generation floating wind turbine technology.

In this role, you will work with the design, analysis, and verification of rotor components and supporting structures, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions for offshore wind applications.

Your Responsibilities

Design and develop rotor-related components and structures for wind turbine systems

Perform structural and fatigue analyses for composite and steel structures

Conduct fatigue verification using ANSYS and FATLAB

Verify steel structures according to DNV-RP-C301

Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation in Autodesk Inventor

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structural, mechanical, and systems engineers

Support prototype development, testing, and continuous product improvement

Required Qualifications

MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field

Practical experience designing and building lightweight composite structures

Strong experience in fatigue verification using ANSYS and FATLAB

Knowledge of fatigue design of steel structures according to DNV-RP-C301

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor

Good understanding of structural mechanics and fatigue behavior

Fluent in English, written and spoken

Experience from the wind energy or offshore industry

Knowledge of rotor blade or nacelle design

Meritorious Experience

Experience with certification processes and industry standards

Hands-on experience with prototype testing and validation
