An exciting opportunity has arisen as Sales Support Engineer in our Propulsion and Handling division at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of Sales Support team in Thruster Systems business, delivering support to our external and internal customers worldwide during sales projects.

Key accountabilities
Act as a contact point between Sales and Product organizations
Support Sales Managers with technical evaluations and cost calculations
Evaluate and propose suitable thruster selection to fulfill customer requirements
Improve internal processes and tools between Engineering, Sales Support and Sales
Join in customer meetings and sales negotiations occasionally.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, automation, or electrical engineering, or a commercial field) is preferred; however, relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
Knowledge of propulsion products is considered as an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required; additional language skills in Swedish or Norwegian will be considered an asset
Capability to read technical drawings
