About the role
Ahlsell is looking for an experienced Mobile Developer to join our e-commerce team. This is a dedicated mobile role with ownership of Ahlsell's iOS and Android applications — a key part of our digital customer experience, used by both customers and colleagues, primarily in a B2B context.
You'll work hands-on with the development, maintenance and evolution of our mobile apps, and collaborate closely with developers, UX and business stakeholders to keep improving the experience. The team is small and still evolving, which means real influence over technical decisions, tooling and ways of working — together with your team. We're building this area step by step, and you'll help shape how mobile development grows within Ahlsell.
Where you'll work
This is a remote-first role. The team works distributed across Sweden, and you can be based anywhere in the country. If you'd prefer to spend some or all of your time at an office, you're welcome to work from any of Ahlsell's locations across Sweden — whichever suits you best. We collaborate primarily online and meet up in person when it adds value. Team gatherings are usually held at our HQ in Stockholm.
Requirements
- We're looking for an experienced Mobile Developer who enjoys taking responsibility and contributing to technical decisions in a collaborative environment. You're curious and proactive, you take initiative, and you're comfortable working where things are still evolving. You also value collaboration and shared ownership — we believe the best solutions are built together, and strong communication is key in a small, distributed team.

- Required experience
- Solid experience in mobile development for iOS and/or Android
- Experience building and shipping native apps and/or React Native applications
- Experience publishing and managing apps in the App Store and Google Play Store
