- Your Mission: Own the Numbers and Rewire How We Work
- You will be the primary owner of Accounts Receivable at Aiven, and a driving force behind the broader transformation of our accounting operations. This is not a maintenance role. The accounting function at Aiven has headroom to move faster, reduce manual effort, and produce better insight - and your job is to close that gap.
- You will sit inside a Finance team that has committed to being the internal proof point for AI-native operations across Aiven. That means you are not waiting for permission to experiment. You are expected to lead.
- In concrete terms, this means you'll:Own Accounts Receivable end to end: Manage the full AR cycle - invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and aging reporting. You keep DSO tight, escalate proactively, and ensure the ledger reflects reality.
- Automate before you execute: Before performing any repeatable task manually, ask whether it can be automated or AI-assisted. When the answer is yes, you build the solution or drive its implementation - in NetSuite, Zip, or tooling you bring to the table.
