About the role
As Convion is now part of the HD Hyundai Corporation, you will work on the Convion team in close collaboration with the HD hydrogen team in Korea.
In this position, you will play a key role in the continuous development, testing, and deployment of Convion's fuel cell systems. The role combines hands-on automation engineering with field activities, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with both product development and manufacturing. Your focus will be on developing and optimizing Beckhoff-based automation systems, factory testing, and site commissioning activities. In addition to supporting deployments, you will contribute to the development and improvement of commissioning and testing processes, helping Convion increase efficiency, quality, and repeatability across projects. You will work closely with automation, electrical, mechanical, and production teams, as well as support commissioning activities at customer sites when needed. The role requires a willingness to travel internationally, as system installations and commissioning projects are expected to increase in the coming years. The position is based in Vantaa and follows a hybrid working model. However, during testing, and other critical project phases, a strong on-site presence is expected.
