We are looking for a new Process Engineer Surface Treatment.

As a Process Engineer Surface Treatment, you act as a technical expert in your area of ​​responsibility. You have close contact with our production units in matters and projects.

Your responsibilities

follow up on current surface treatment methods

necessary corrosion tests

support product development process in for example ordering tests in laboratory

evaluate new methods in surface treatment

set process requirements and participate in implementation

support in claim handling

take active part in the development of both new and existing products in cooperation with internal and external parties

equipment specifications and receiving quotations suggest adequate equipment (in investments)

follow-up of commissioning and tests of equipment

participate in questions regarding chemicals and environmental issues

practical and theoretical support to Wipro Plants in Europe and India

Who are we looking for?

In order to be successful in this position, we believe that you are a structured, accurate and determined person who knows how to work both independently and in a group. The role has many contact surfaces, both internally and externally, and it is important that you are enthusiastic about versatile work. You are readiness and willingness to global travel with short notice. And you have high availability and high flexibility in a changing environment.

You have a suitable university degree, for example Bachelor of Science, in Chemistry or equivalent, and you have knowledge of surface treatment as nitrocarburization, chrome plating and painting with pretreatment. Also have knowledge of AutoCAD.
