We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Packaging & Graphic Designer to join our Design Team. Based in Helsinki, this role spans packaging design, print material production, and marketing graphic design across the Rapala VMC brand portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong 3D thinking with excellent graphic design skills, thrives in a collaborative international environment, and is passionate about creating designs that are efficient, sustainable, and true to the brand promise.
Responsibilities
- Packaging Design:
- Design and develop packaging for product lines across the Rapala VMC portfolio, ensuring brand consistency and shelf appeal.
- Work closely with package suppliers on specifications, materials, die-lines, and production-ready artwork.
- Propose innovative packaging solutions that minimize plastic usage and align with sustainability goals.
- Create 3D mockups and visualizations of packaging concepts for internal review and stakeholder presentations.
- Print Material Design:
- Design print materials including catalogs, brochures, point-of-sale displays, and trade show materials.
- Collaborate with print material suppliers to ensure accurate color reproduction and quality output.
- Manage artwork files from concept through to final production-ready deliverables.
- Marketing & Graphic Design:
- Create digital and print marketing materials including advertisements, banners, social media graphics, and email templates.
- Design campaign visuals and promotional assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Support the marketing team with quick-turnaround design needs for seasonal campaigns and product launches.
- Develop visual assets for e-commerce platforms.
- Brand Consistency & Collaboration:
- Maintain and evolve brand visual guidelines across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with an international team of marketers, product managers, and external partners.
- Present and sell design concepts and creative solution
