We are looking for a specialist in pathology for a permanent 100% position at a hospital on Norway's beautiful west coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a pathologist who wants to work in a strong professional environment with varied and meaningful diagnostic work.

The department plays an important role in patient diagnosis and treatment, working closely with clinical teams across the hospital. You will join a committed and experienced team with a broad diagnostic scope and a strong focus on professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Histological and cytological diagnostics.
  • Participation in autopsies and, where relevant, frozen section work.
  • Collaboration with clinical departments and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribution to internal teaching, quality improvement, and professional development.
  • Helping further develop the department's diagnostic work.

Requirements

  • European medical licence and specialist approval in pathology.
  • Experience in histology and cytology is desirable.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluent English skills and willingness to learn Norwegian.
