About your job

As Operational Excellence Lead, you are a hands-on change driver in the Cemented Carbide Production Unit in Gimo. You translate the Production System into daily ways of working and deliver tangible improvements in efficiency, quality, and output. You work side by side with production, driving execution with strong local ownership. Acting as an extension of the Production Unit Director, you ensure that global operational excellence priorities are turned into real performance improvements in daily improvements. This is an execution role, focused on delivering measurable results close to production. You report to the Production Unit Director.

Job responsibilities

Lead the implementation and continuous development of our production system in daily operations

Drive loss elimination across the value stream using structured Lean methods (value stream mapping, flow analysis, waste reduction, and standardized work).

Own and drive the Production Unit’s performance improvement roadmap with clear follow-up and transparency.

Identify and prioritize improvement initiatives based on operational insight, data and performance gaps.

Ensure that digital tools and shop-floor performance management are used to drive decisions and improvements.

Deliver measurable results in cost, quality, and output.

The location for this position is Gimo, working close to operations.
