Who is your future team?
You will join our Core Platform Internal Chips group, an important part of Axis' camera development. We contribute to imaging processing pipeline, radar, and power management development. Within this established organization, you will be a founding member of a new performance and observability team in its startup phase. This position allows you to drive innovation from the ground up while collaborating closely with the broader platform teams with the ability to quickly build a professional network across the company.

What will you do here as an Embedded Software Engineer?
The position is hands-on where you will be part of building up a new team and a new responsibility area. The responsibilities of the new group will be to;
Bridge HW and SW: Design and implement low-latency instrumentation within embedded software and kernel layers to capture critical hardware performance metrics.
Drive observability: Architect and maintain system-wide observability frameworks that provide real-time visibility into resource utilization, bottlenecks, and system health.
Build measurement tools: Develop specialized tools and automated pipelines for performance profiling and
